This is my basic outline for my project. I am currently compiling scholarly writings on my subject. I find the topic fascinating and look forward to making my video. Having never made a video before, I have already looked at the resource given by our instructor several times. I welcome all suggestions, criticism, etc. This is my starting point. Hopefully I am headed in the right direction.

  1. Hi Laverne,

You are definitely headed in the right direction. Also, you have the right attitude. If you look at creating a video as a challenge and you have never made one before, you will learn a great deal in the process! My initial feeling about your outline is that you are trying to cover too much material. Find an aspect that you want to explore in greater detail and stick with that. A five-minute video is quite short to cover more than 1 or 2 of the topics listed above. Give it some thought!

  2. Are you going to use Movie Maker? Are you going to insert any video? You have selected an interesting topic.

  3. Laverne,
I agree with Dr. Powell - it looks like you have enough information in your outline to be the keynote speaker! I am excited to see your video since this one aspect of the web that I am not very familiar.
